Die Dialoge der Serie zählen zu den wichtigsten Gründen ihres Erfolgs. Diese Folge steckt voller Höhepunkte. Hier eine Auswahl:

Peggy, einen Heiratsantrag erwartend: „I should go home and change, shouldn’t I?“
Joan: „Better yet, go shopping.“

Mona, Rogers Ex-Frau, zu Roger: „I thought you married Jane because I had gotten old, and then I realized because you had.“

Pete: „So I manage those accounts.“
Emile: „I don’t understand. What do you do, everyday?“
Pete: „Well what do you do? You’re a scholar and an intellectual, right?“
Emile: „Yes.“
Pete: „Actually, from, what I hear, you’re a bit of a trailblazer.“
Emile: „I don’t know if that’s true.“
Pete: „I bet the world would be better off if they knew about the work you’re doing.“
Emile: „You are very kind.“
Pete: „That, Emile, is what I do every day.“
